「彼には兄弟がいない」で「否定文」と考えて「not」を思いついて、
He has（not）brothers.
とする人が多いけど、これは不正解。
notを使った一般動詞の否定文はどうだったかというと、
I have a pen. → 否定文にすると I do not have a pen.（短縮形を使って I don’t have a pen.）
She has an apple. → 否定文にすると She does not have an apple.（短縮形を使って She doesn’t have an apple.）
だから、do not（does not）を使うなら、
He does not have any brothers.（He doesn’t have any brothers.）
とすれば否定文としてはマルだけど、この問題はbrotherの前に何をつけるかがポイントだから、
He has（no）brothers.
が正解。
