「私は、つもりです、泊まる、彼の家に、二晩」

が英語的な語順で、

私は　I
つもりです　am going to
泊まる　stay
たかしの家に　at his house
二晩　for two nights

となるから、

I am going to stay at his house for two nights.

前置詞atとforの使い方が逆の人が多い。

be going to　を　will　にすると、

I will stay at his house for two nights.

3日間　for three days
4年間　for four years

と、前置詞「for」が「～間」という意味なのもおさえたい。
